How early do I have to book?

We have brides who book over a year from their wedding, but we also receive calls even a few weeks prior to a wedding. For the busy summer/fall months, we suggest booking a few months out.

What are your deposit and payment terms?

A $200 deposit is required to secure the date. The final invoice will be sent 3 weeks prior and we require payment in full one week prior to your event. There will be a link to pay online with a credit card on the invoice.

Do you have a minimum and what are your prices?

We do have a minimum of $350. Since each venue is different, we don’t have set pricing; it is based on the style of the room and the amount of decor requested by the client. In general, standard ballroom draping ranges between $700-900 and these fees include everything: delivery and installation, white or ivory fabric, twinkle lights, set-up and takedown.

What other charges will we incur?

In order to keep things simple for our customers, we don’t charge any additional service fees or charge for weekend or midnight takedowns. The prices quoted to you are what you will see on your final invoice. The only additional charges would be a delivery charge if we travel outside of the metro area (normally anywhere more than 45-60 minutes away from Minneapolis) or if we need to rent special equipment such as a lift to install. These prices will all be stated up front and be included in on the contract we send you.

Where do you work and do you travel?

Avant Decor has worked in the majority of venues in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. We also travel to anywhere within the 5-state area. We have worked in Nisswa, Duluth, Detroit Lakes, Grand Forks, Chicago and even Montana!

What kind of fabric do you use?

For our traditional draping in white or ivory, we have a chiffon fabric that is 118˝ wide. We also carry a variety of colored fabrics in both chiffons and satins. One thing that really sets us apart from most companies who provide similar services is that we roll all of our fabric when we take it down. This helps maintain the quality of the fabric, keeping it from getting wrinkled.

Avant Decor is fully insured and we are happy to work with your venue on any needed documentation.

Will you match a competitor’s price?

We make every effort to keep our pricing competitive, but there are always new companies popping up in the industry charging much less than the industry standard. We encourage you to ask the other companies about additional charges such as delivery/fuel charges and especially late night fees. Those are not always taken into consideration when comparing pricing and you will not incur those if you book with us.
